Welcome to Autumn – Fall Door Wreath

An autumn welcome wreath with pumpkins, oak and maple leaves, a sunflower and two little acorns tucked into the frame. There’s quite a bit of detail in the leaves and petals, while the open center gives the “Welcome” lettering room to stand out.   I printed this one on my X2D at a 0.2 mm layer height, using PLA Matte with gold filament for the yellow parts. I’m really pleased with that combination. The gold catches the light on the leaves, smaller pumpkin and sunflower, and makes them pop nicely against the matte colours. It’s a small material choice that makes a noticeable difference to the finished piece.   You can hang it on a door or wall, or simply lean it on a shelf or hallway console. I quite like it with a few autumn branches beside it, although it has enough detail to make a lovely display on its own too.
