A wood-look door sign you design yourself in the browser: your house number inside a little house icon, your family name beside it, and a carved wood-grain texture that makes it look like the real thing. I wanted a sign for our front door that didn't look 3D printed. So instead of a flat plate with letters on it, I built the wood grain right into the surface; every board, knot, and grain line is modeled, so it catches light like carved timber. Then I made the whole thing parametric, so you can have yours in about a minute without opening any CAD software. It prints flat on the plate, text facing up Default size 250 × 100 × 6 mm, one plate. Scale it freely; it holds up Two colors: base + text. With an AMS, it's automatic; without one, just do a filament swap at the layer where the raised text starts - that's all it takes Indoors, PLA is perfect. For an outdoor door or mailbox, use PETG or ASA so sun and weather don't get to it Mounting Flat back by design - double-sided mounting tape (3M VHB is my pick) holds it on a door or wall with no holes and no drilling.
