RailLink — Modular Roller Coaster Build the track together. Let your kid build the world around it. Then put it all back in the box. RailLink is a fully modular 3D-printed roller coaster system with interchangeable track sections, clip-in supports and a working coaster car. Build a small layout, expand it, rebuild it — or pack everything away when you're done. Build. Connect. Rebuild. The car is held securely to the rail by 12 ball bearings, allowing it to run through curves and even the corkscrew without leaving the track. The starter system includes: Straight and curved track Corkscrew / helix Modular Supports for different heights Fully mechanical coaster car No tools are required for assembly. The seat is sized for a Playmobil-style figure, so the coaster can easily become part of a larger amusement park or play scene. e every section can be separated again, layouts can be changed whenever you want — and stored flat when playtime is over. Hardware & printing Everything except the bearings is 3D printed. Each car requires: 12 × 625 bearings — 5 × 16 × 5 mm PLA is recommended. Some parts require supports or a brim; the included print profiles already contain the required settings. For the track, a smooth build plate is recommended for the cleanest bearing surface. Lets you try the system without ordering bearings first — expect more friction and a shorter roll than with real bearings. Thx to @evdood for bringing that up! Update — 15 Sep 2026 Added the missing straight rail segments to the Track Expansion profile. They were shown in the demo but weren't included in the files.
