Front Cockpit 1 - VHM

Hello everyone! For quite some time, I’ve been thinking about designing a small, simple cockpit box that could hold my phone, a few snacks, and possibly my wallet. I also wanted to keep it compact and relatively aerodynamic.   I’m calling it the Front Cockpit 1 because I’m already considering a simplified version without the phone mount, as well as a version with a flush-mounted Garmin interface integrated directly into the top surface. Let me know in the comments if either of these options would interest you! Hardware A few hardware components are required to assemble the box. I’ve tried to standardize the hardware across my different designs, so if you already have hardware from another VALET accessory — such as the VALET Handlebar Box — you may already have everything you need. The required hardware includes pins, M3 screws, and springs, as listed in the BOM. VALET GRID SYSTEM Compatibility Another nice feature of this design is that you can mount VALET GRID SYSTEM accessories directly to the bottom of the storage compartment. Currently available accessories : GoPro Mounts Phone Mounts Light Mounts Strap Mounts Garmin mounts About the VALET Handlebar Mount (VHM) The VHM is a modular mounting system that allows cyclists to quickly attach and remove different accessories from their handlebars. It can be used with accessories such as the VALET Handlebar Box, Milk Crate, and other VALET accessories.
