Stone Golem Planter

Stone Golem Planter  Meet your own little stone guardian :) This friendly stone golem is a decorative planter designed to bring a bit of fantasy and personality to your plants. Its chunky stone body, oversized hands, and cheerful face make it a perfect little companion for your desk, shelf, or plant collection. The planter is built directly into the golem’s head, making the plant part of the character. Different plants can completely change its appearance, giving your golem a unique hairstyle every time.    The small version is best suited for different types of succulents and cacti that don’t require frequent watering. If you want to use a larger plant that needs more regular watering, I recommend printing the golem at a larger scale and adding a drainage hole at the bottom to allow excess water to escape. I made mine after printing using a heated piece of wire, as shown in one of the photos.   The golem is printed slightly tilted backwards, which helps keep most of the required supports on the back of the model and leaves the front looking cleaner. For my prints, I used a 0.20 mm layer height for the small version and 0.24 mm for the large version. The eyes can be printed in a different color, or you can simply color them after printing. An acrylic paint marker works great for this and makes it very easy to give your golem a little extra personality.   Print it in stone-like colors for a classic golem look, or experiment with different filaments to create your own unique little guardian.   Perfect for succulents, cacti, small plants, desks, shelves, or as a fun gift for fantasy and 3D printing fans. 🪨
