HexaDex – Pokémon-Inspired Hexagonal Wall Art Welcome to the HexaDex collection! HexaDex is a modular hexagonal wall decoration system inspired by Pokémon designs. Each panel looks great on its own, but by combining multiple HexaDex pieces, you can create a unique, expandable wall display that grows with your collection. ✨ Features 🧩 Modular hexagonal design 🖼️ Wall-mountable 🎨 Available in multiple colors and multicolor versions 🔄 All HexaDex models can be combined with each other ⚡ Unique Pokémon-inspired design 🎨 Multicolor Models The HexaDex collection includes several multicolor models. For these versions, each colored part must be printed separately and then glued onto the matching black backing plate. The black backing serves as the base of the model and helps the colored details stand out. This means you do not need a multi-material printer—the multicolor versions can be made using a standard single-extruder 3D printer. For assembly, I recommend using a high-quality adhesive suitable for plastics. 🖨️ No AMS Printing – Manual Color Change In the No AMS Print profile, a Pause has been added during the frame printing process. When the printer reaches this point, you will need to manually change the filament color, then resume the print once the new filament is loaded. This allows you to create the correct color frame without needing an AMS or any other multi-material system. ⚠️ Important Printing Tip! Some smaller parts and detailed elements are very small, making them more sensitive during printing. It is especially important to clean and degrease the print bed properly before printing. Even a minor adhesion issue can cause small parts to detach from the build plate. 👉 For the best possible results, always make sure your print bed is clean and provides proper adhesion before starting a print. 🔧 Assembly The HexaDex panels are connected using dovetail connectors. These connectors have been tested with multiple filament types and on several different printers. Since printers and filaments can vary slightly in dimensional accuracy, the connectors were designed to avoid being overly tight. For this reason, a small tolerance has been built into the design, making assembly easier across a wider range of printers and materials. For a secure and permanent wall installation, I recommend using double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the panels. 🚀 Collect the Entire Collection! This is just one piece from the HexaDex series.
