Descripción
This is a tool to centre and hold pots on a pottery wheel for trimming/glazing/sanding. It has three sliders which move in towards the middle at the same rate, which ensures the pot is held in the middle of the wheel. It attaches to the wheelhead with batt pins, and this is designed for wheels with 10mm pins at 254mm (10ich) and 10mm pins at 148mm, but could easily have additional holes added at different spacings. There is a printable hole checker that you can print first, to check that the standard holes will work with your wheel. Designed to print on a standard 256mm build plate with no supports and no hardware required. To assemble the tool: Bottom plate has the spiral facing up. Top plate sits on top with screw thread downwards through the hole in the bottom plate. Put the angled nut on the screw thread and tighten with the printed tool (should be done up tight, and this shouldn't stop the plates from spinning). The sliders are reversible, with a smaller and a larger side. They get inserted at the outer end of the slot in the top plate, and can only go in at the correct point in the rotation
