Aeolian Collection | Wave Pendant Lamp for IKEA STRÅLA Named after the wind that carves ridges into sand and snow, the Aeolian Collection trades sharp geometry for something softer and more organic. Where fluting is strict and repetitive, these shades flow. Ten wave patterns run vertically around each cylinder, curving and shifting so no two sides read the same. Unlit, the ridges catch shadow and give the shade real depth. Lit, the peaks glow warm while the valleys stay soft, so the light itself has movement in it. The result feels less designed and more weathered. Quiet, tactile, and calm. 📦 What's Included Ten cylinder pendant shades in five wave patterns Each pattern comes as a mirrored pair, so the ridges flow one way on the first and the opposite on the second. Hang the pair side by side and the light plays off each shade differently. In a room with real light sources the two throw noticeably different shadows, even though they read as near twins in a photo. If you have already printed the adapter for one of those, it fits these too. Bone White keeps the ridges crisp and clean, while PLA Wood adds a warmer, more organic diffusion that suits the wind-carved look of this collection especially well. Print profiles included for 0.4 mm nozzle. 🔧 Assembly Tool-free, modular twist-lock system. You only need to print the adapter once per fixture. Secure the socket → insert your IKEA STRÅLA lamp holder into the printed Cylinder Socket Adapter, then lock it from the top using the original STRÅLA plastic retaining ring. Align the shade → line up the tabs at the base of the adapter with the locking ring built into the bottom of the shade. Twist to lock → turn clockwise until it clicks snugly into place. 🔗 Part of the Line The Aeolian Collection uses the exact same STRÅLA socket adapter as my earlier fluted shades, so all three listings are cross-compatible. Print the adapter once and swap between any shade in the line.
