Description Harley Quinn — 30cm No-AMS Collector Figure Sometimes a project starts with a simple idea and then gets a little out of hand. ♦️♠️ This Harley Quinn fan-art figure was created as a large-format, approximately 30 cm tall collector display model, with one major goal: preserve the classic red, black and white appearance while making the model practical to print without an AMS. Rather than relying on filament swaps throughout a single print, the model has been separated into individual color-coordinated components that can be printed independently and assembled afterward. Details such as the costume diamonds were designed as separate fitted inserts, allowing the finished model to retain the contrasting colors without painting or an AMS. The figure has been physically printed and assembled, and the photos in this listing show the completed FDM print.   ⚠️ Important Printing & Assembly Note This model uses a high-density mesh to preserve as much surface detail as possible. Because of the model's size and geometric complexity, the parts have been divided across multiple color- and object-specific print profiles. Before assembly, carefully remove and clean all support material and support-interface residue from mating surfaces. Clean contact surfaces are important for proper alignment, strong connections, and the best possible final fit. Dry-fit all parts before applying adhesive. 🎨 AMS Face Coming Soon: The current release includes the Non-AMS face, with an AMS-painted face/profile planned for upload shortly for printers who prefer a multicolor single-piece face. Printing This is a multipart model intended for color-separated printing. The model includes separate red, black, white and detail components so you can reproduce the character's color scheme using a standard single-filament printer. For the Non-AMS head, I recommend using a 0.2 mm nozzle. The smaller facial and eye components benefit considerably from the additional XY resolution. Because several components are small, take particular care when removing them from the build plate and during assembly. The jester-hat pom-poms are especially delicate and are best installed toward the end of assembly. Design Notes The costume diamonds are not simply decorations floating on top of the body. They were modeled as separate fitted inserts with matching recessed sockets in the figure. The backs of the inserts are tapered, providing a lead-in during assembly while also producing cleaner, more printable receiving geometry. The base was intentionally kept simple and relatively small. Its job is to stabilize the figure without overpowering the tall, narrow silhouette. Assembly Dry-fit parts before applying adhesive. I recommend assembling the major body sections first, installing the figure onto the base, and leaving the delicate jester-hat pom-poms until near the end. As with any multipart FDM model, minor fit variation can occur between printers, materials and calibration. If a connection is particularly tight, lightly clean the mating surfaces rather than forcing the part.
