Hidden Quick Release License Plate Mount A simple hidden mounting system designed to install and remove a license plate without visible screws on the front of the plate. The system consists of two parts: • License Plate Clip – attaches to the back of the license plate. • Vehicle Mount – attaches to the vehicle using a screw. The license plate slides onto the vehicle mount and locks into place with a snap-fit mechanism. It can be removed again by sliding the plate in the opposite direction. For one license plate, I recommend using 2 complete sets (2 clips + 2 vehicle mounts). Installation: 1. Print 2 License Plate Clips and 2 Vehicle Mounts. 2. Secure the Vehicle Mounts to the vehicle with suitable screws. 3. Attach the License Plate Clips to the back of the license plate using a suitable automotive adhesive or silicone. 4. Align the clips with the mounts. 5. Slide the license plate into place until the clips snap into position. No supports are required with the recommended print orientation. For outdoor/automotive use, PETG or another temperature and weather-resistant filament is recommended.
