Mechanical Drop Tower

Mechanical Drop Tower A fully 3D-printable working drop tower inspired by classic amusement park rides.   Raise the cabin by hand until the automatic hooks lock it at the top, then press the single-finger release lever and watch it drop. A pivoting internal mechanism follows the variable-pitch spiral drum: the upper section allows a fast descent, while the tighter lower section progressively slows the cabin before it reaches the base.   The model includes four seats, a safety bar, front railing, structural side frames and a separate two-colour sign. All components are printed separately, so the multicolour design does not require an AMS.   Designed and physically tested on a Bambu Lab A1.
