Opinel No.8 Handle w/SwissCard Tools

I put a Swisscard in an Opinel! The Opinel is such a good, classic knife that has held up over time. Some of their new product releases like the Horizon and Alpine got me wondering what other functions we could put into the handle of this simple tool, and no one does handle/scale tools better than Victorinox.   The toolset and modifications in their entirety: Swisscard Scissors Nail File/flathead screwdriver Tweezers Toothpick Pen 4mm Bit Driver (single-sided bits only) Thumb Stud for one-hand opening Contoured handle for better grip, and it works as a shockingly good wire stripper/cutter What you'll need for assembly: An Opinel No. 8 (Carbone or Inox, I won't judgej) A Swisscard Classic Literally a single drop of superglue How to Disassemble: Disassembling an Opinel is extremely easy using the Bottle Opener/Cap Lifter on any Victorinox multitool. Keep the blade closed, turn the locking collar on the Opinel all the way to the locked position, then hook the bottom of the cap lifter into the groove just above the pivot and gently slide the collar off the end of the Opinel.    Once you have the collar off: Remove the pivot pin either using a punch, or by levering it out with the same Victorinox cap lifter tool. When the pivot is fully removed, carefully remove the blade from the handle. With the blade removed, the pressure on the last metal piece is gone and it should slide off easily. How to Reassemble: Print your new handle Slide the cap with the pivot holes over the end of the tool, and admire the 4mm bit driver hole in the end Carefully slide the blade back into the slot, aligning the blade's hole with the pivot hole in the metal cap Press the pivot pin through the holes - this can be tricky - you might need to file the end of the pivot pin to a slight chamfer so it presses through more easily The pivot pin needs to go through both sides of the metal cap. It will typically click into place when you have it through far enough Put the locking collar over the top of the tool and press the handle and collar against a flat, firm surface to snap it back in place. Add a drop of superglue into the thumb stud and, with the blade closed, press the thumb stud into place over the spine of the blade. Be careful not to let the glue seep out and glue your knife shut!  Take the tools out of your swiss card and introduce them to their new home  Warning. This is a knife.
