It’s an evolution of our popular ZenLink bracelet, refined through countless test prints, small improvements, and a lot of attention to detail. We kept the original minimalist design and appearance, while improving the things that matter most when printing and wearing it. The result is a bracelet that is more reliable to print, easier to print, and more durable in everyday use. A redesigned folding clasp The biggest improvement is the new folding clasp. A lot of time and many test prints went into developing a clasp that keeps the bracelet securely fastened while remaining easy to use. The new folding mechanism provides a more secure closure and is designed specifically to work reliably with standard PLA. PLA can lose some of its flexibility over time. The clasp has therefore been carefully designed to compensate for this as much as possible, helping maintain a secure connection even after repeated use. No extra materials or assembly are required. The bracelet is still printed as one complete piece and is ready to wear straight from the printer. Easier and more reliable printing We also made a number of small changes to the bracelet links and the way the model prints. These changes are subtle and do not alter the recognizable appearance of ZenLink, but they make the printing process considerably more reliable. The improved design helps reduce problems such as spaghetti and links coming loose from the print bed. ZenLink Fold requires support in only one small area of the bracelet. This support is very easy to remove by hand, making post-processing quick and simple. Improved DuoColor The DuoColor version has also been redesigned. Previously, the second color was mainly visible on the upper surface of the links. With ZenLink Fold, each link is now printed completely in its second color, creating a much cleaner and more striking two-color effect. On a single-nozzle printer, this will increase the print time somewhat because of the additional filament changes. On a dual-nozzle printer, however, this is no longer an issue. And of course, this is just the beginning…if you enjoy getting creative in Bambu Studio, you can still experiment with your own color combinations and assign different colors to individual parts or links to create your own unique ZenLink Fold. Print accuracy matters ZenLink Fold is also a small test of your printer’s accuracy. Although this version has been refined to make printing considerably easier than the original ZenLink, the clasp and moving links still rely on precise tolerances. A well-calibrated printer and consistent extrusion are important for the mechanism to work as intended. For the best results, use high-quality, well-dried PLA. The tolerances have been tuned and tested with common PLA filaments, including finishes such as PLA Silk and even PETG. A clean build plate is equally important. Make sure it is free from dust, fingerprints and grease so the bracelet remains firmly attached throughout the print. If your printer is properly calibrated and your filament is in good condition, ZenLink Fold is designed to print as a clean, functional mechanism directly from the build plate. A small tip for the first use When using the folding clasp for the first time, open and close it gently a few times before putting the bracelet on. Because the clasp is printed as a functional mechanism, the moving surfaces can initially fit quite tightly straight from the printer. Carefully working the clasp a few times helps remove any tiny traces of filament and allows the moving parts to settle into their intended movement. After this short break-in, the clasp should open and close much more smoothly while maintaining a secure fit. Print profiles Each size of ZenLink Fold is available with two print profiles: Solid Color — the entire bracelet is printed in a single color. DuoColor — the bracelet links alternate between two colors, creating a distinctive two-tone pattern. Simply choose the profile that matches the look you want to create. Five sizes ZenLink Fold is available in five sizes: XS — 178 mm: for smaller wrists S — 196 mm: for small to average wrists — recommended starting size M — 214 mm: for average to slightly larger wrists L — 228 mm: for larger wrists XL — 258 mm: for very large wrists The measurements indicate the effective length of the bracelet when laid flat, measured from the beginning of the clasp to the point where the clasp securely closes. These measurements are intended as a guide for choosing the bracelet size and do not represent your wrist circumference. Not sure which size to choose? We recommend starting with the Small (196 mm). It is a good starting point for most people and fits a wide range of small to average wrists.
