Mermaid Love - Ring Hairpin

Do you enjoy dark fantasy and dramatic love stories? Do you, by any chance, like skeletons too?   If yes, then this design is definitely for you! :D   🌊I've received quite a few messages from you guys for a mermaid version of my hair accessories in the past few months, and I really wanted to bring it to life. But you know my style: I like things dark and twisted, and a bit.. dead? So here we are. :D   🌊For this design, I wanted to go for an “eternal love” moment; the kind of visual story where two lovers are together even after death, but mermaid edition. I also didn't aim for a super anatomically correct design; instead, I tried to incorporate elements and motions that bring mermaids to mind. The bottom part of the hairpin, the “fish-tail” and jewel, are dynamic, dangling elements that move even after wearing it in your hair.   🌊 I think this design works beautifully with both matte and Silk PLA. I also suggest printing the jewel in a translucent filament to give the color combo some extra depth and zazz. ✨   🌊 Print notes: This print is quite straightforward: 0.16 layers, 3 walls, low speed, and a low infill percentage (about 5 to 10%). However, enable “outer brims” so the delicate parts of the design attach properly to the build plate.   Hope you enjoy it, and happy printing! :) 🥂✨
