VALET Handlebar Mount (VHM)— Main Page

Hello everyone!   I’ve had quite a few requests to make the VALET Handlebar Box Detachable so I’m happy to finally share the solution and a whole new mounting system! The VALET Handlebar Mount (VHM) is a simple mounting system that attaches to your handlebar and lets you quickly clip on and remove different accessories.   Note: The distance between the two brackets has been increased slightly to 52 mm to accommodate larger stems. Compatible Accessories The system currently supports: VHM Handlebar Box VHM Milk Crate VHM Front cockpit (soon) More accessories will be added ! Assembly The mount attaches to your handlebar using two mounting brackets, and an additional Rotation Blocker that will prevent the accessory to slide down over time (more details below).    Assembly requires a few hardware components available from the Bambu Store. You can purchase all the required hardware using the list provided below. Detailed assembly instructions will be coming very soon! 🔧 Handlebar Shims To accommodate different handlebar diameters, several shims are included in the files. I recommend printing the shims in TPU, which conforms nicely to the handlebar and provides a secure, slip-resistant fit. Available shim sizes: 22.2 mm (7/8") 25.4 mm (1") 31.8 mm (1.25") Simply print the shim that matches your handlebar diameter. Optional Feature 1 : Locking Tab I’ve also added a small locking feature to the mounting bracket. There is a hole at the bottom of the bracket where you can insert the included small key. Once inserted, it prevents the accessory from being unlatched. Need to remove the accessory? Simply pull the key out and it can be released normally. Optional Feature 2 : Screw Plugs I’ve also included optional screw plugs that can be printed in TPU. These small plugs snap into the bracket and cover the mounting screws, giving the finished assembly a cleaner look while also helping protect the screws from dirt and debris. They’re completely optional, so you can leave them off if you prefer easy access to the hardware. Optional Feature 3: Rotation Blocker An optional anti-rotation bracket is included to prevent the accessory from rotating downward when carrying a load. For lightweight loads, you may not need it. Please refer to the assembly instructions for details on installation. Available stem-angle versions: 0° 15° 25° 35° 45° The rotation blocker is available in each of these angles to match different stem configurations.   Base Part If you want to design your own accessories, please download a 3D file of the base part (under .STL).    I really hope you enjoy this new system, folks!
