Boo Beneath the Blue takes classic spooky-season fun and drops it straight onto the ocean floor, creating a whimsical underwater Halloween scene filled with colorful sea life, a grinning jack-o'-lantern, and plenty of unexpected spooky details. At the center of the scene is a large hollow jack-o'-lantern surrounded by ghostly little fish, a skull, witch hat, colorful coral, starfish, and flowing underwater plants. It's a fun mashup of Halloween and ocean life that makes this one a little different from the traditional graveyards, ghosts, and haunted houses. Once assembled, the sculpture stands approximately 150 mm tall, making it a great size for a desk, shelf, Halloween display, or alongside the other spooky scenes in the collection. 👻 Halloween Has Gone Underwater! There's plenty to discover throughout the scene: 🎃 Large hollow jack-o'-lantern centerpiece 👻🐠 Adorable ghost fish 🐟 Little spooky sea creature 💀 Sunken skull 🧙 Witch hat resting on the ocean floor ⭐ Starfish 🪸 Colorful coral 🌿 Flowing underwater plants 🏖️ Textured sandy ocean floor with scattered stones The separate pieces make this a particularly fun model for experimenting with colors. There's absolutely no reason your underwater plants have to be green or your coral purple—make your own strange little Halloween reef! 🧩 Multi-Part Design The sculpture has been divided into individual components to make printing, coloring, and assembly easier. Many pieces attach to the base using plugs and matching sockets, allowing them to fit neatly into their intended locations. If you'd like those pieces permanently attached, simply add a small drop of glue to the plug before inserting it. Other decorative elements will require glue for final assembly, as not every component uses a plug connection. This gives you some flexibility during assembly while still creating a sturdy finished display. 🎨 Mix, Match & Make It Yours One of my favorite parts of these multi-piece scenes is seeing how completely different they can look just by changing the filament choices. The example uses a combination of: Orange – Jack-o'-lantern White – Ghost fish and skull Black – Witch hat and details Green – Underwater plants Purple / Red – Coral Orange / Yellow – Starfish and accents Tan – Sand Gray – Stone and outer base But these are only suggestions. Try glow-in-the-dark filament for the ghosts, translucent filament for the fish, silk colors for the coral, or create an entire neon haunted reef. 🖨️ AMS Information The model has been split into multiple pieces primarily for easy printing and customization, rather than specifically to eliminate multicolor printing. An AMS is not required for most of the sculpture. The primary area where an AMS is useful is the base, if you'd like the sand/dirt and stone portions printed as separate colors as shown. Without an AMS, you can still print the scene and use a single color for those combined details. 🔧 Assembly Some pieces simply plug into their designated openings while others require a small amount of glue. For removable plug-fit pieces: Insert → Display → Remove when needed For permanent placement: Small drop of glue → Insert plug → Allow to set For pieces without plugs, use a small amount of your preferred adhesive to secure them in position. This also makes the model easier to pack away after Halloween if you choose to leave some of the plug-fit pieces unglued. 📏 Model Details Approximate assembled height: 150 mm Design: Multi-part Halloween desk sculpture Assembly: Plug-fit + some glued components AMS Required: No, for most components AMS Recommended: Sand/dirt and stone color separation Colors: Completely customizable Scaling: Possible, but scale all mating components equally 🎃 Welcome to the Haunted Reef Who says Halloween has to stay on dry land? Boo Beneath the Blue brings pumpkins, ghosts, witches, and spooky fun all the way down to the ocean floor. Mix up the colors, create your own haunted reef, and make this strange little underwater Halloween world completely your own. If you print it, share your make on MakerWorld—I'd love to see what color combinations everyone comes up with! 🎃👻🐠🪸
