"I am the Superior Spider-Man!" Bring Otto Octavius's most iconic form to your collection with this fully articulated 3D printable figure of the Superior Spider-Man. Captured in a dynamic, commanding stance, this model is designed for Marvel fans and collectors who want to display the genius of the Superior Spider-Man on their shelf. 📝 Have a character recommendation? Fill out the Google Form in my bio—I'm always looking for new ideas! Key Features: Fully Articulated: Ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles allow for a wide range of dynamic poses. The neck and torso also feature articulation for expressive combat stances. Comic-Accurate Design: Sculpted to reflect Superior Spider-Man's distinctive red-and-black suit, featuring the large black spider emblem and the mechanical spider-legs that protrude from the back. Compact Scale: Stands at approximately 14-15 cm tall when assembled—matching the scale of other figures in this series and similar to the Marvel Legends 6-inch scale. Includes Three Sets of Hands: Comes with three sets of hands (fists, open palms, and web-slinging gestures) for maximum poseability. Mechanical Spider-Legs Included: The iconic four mechanical spider-legs are included, each featuring a four-segment articulated joint for dynamic posing. These legs can be arranged for climbing, attacking, or stable support poses. Snap-Fit Assembly: Parts connect with integrated pins and sockets. Please note: Due to the high detail and tight tolerances of this remix, some parts may have a very snug fit. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: A CHALLENGING BUILD ⚠️ This is not a beginner-friendly model. It is a complex remix designed for experienced makers who enjoy a challenge. The addition of the mechanical spider-legs makes this an especially intricate build. Please be prepared for the following: Difficult Fit: The suit details, joints, and spider-legs are designed to fit closely. Expect a tight, sometimes frustrating fit. Be patient and persistent. Reprints are Likely: Some parts, especially joint pins and the spider-leg connections, may need to be reprinted to achieve the perfect fit. Do not be discouraged if your first attempt is not perfect. Multiple Test Fits: You will need to test-fit parts multiple times, sanding or heating connections slightly to get everything to work together smoothly. High Detail: The model features fine details (suit texture, spider emblem, mechanical legs) that require careful printing and handling. Printing Notes: Supports Required: Due to overhanging parts (especially the spider-legs and head), supports will be needed for a successful print. Enable supports in your slicer. Recommended Layer Height: 0.10mm – 0.16mm for the best detail on the suit pattern and joints. Recommended Material: PETG is recommended for greater strength and durability, especially for joints that will be moved frequently. PLA also works but may wear out faster with use. Infill: 20–40% for body parts; 100% for small joint pins and spider-leg connections if printing them separately. For smoother joint movement, you may need to lightly sand the spider-leg connection points depending on your printer's tolerance. Assembly: A PDF tutorial is included in the download with step-by-step assembly instructions for the figure. For constructing the spider-legs, please refer to the original creator's assembly guide—their detailed instructions will ensure proper articulation and fit. Warm the receiving holes slightly with a hair dryer if joints feel too tight. Move each joint carefully after assembly to break in the articulation. For FDM prints, gently sand the joints until you achieve a proper fit. Do not force parts—if something doesn't fit, reprint or carefully sand the offending area. What's Included in the Download: Complete STL set for the articulated figure Three sets of hands (fists, open palms, web-slinging gestures) Four mechanical spider-legs with articulated joints PDF assembly tutorial Scale: ~14-15 cm (5.5-6 inches) tall when assembled. The spider-legs are designed to be approximately 1.3 times the height of the figure for an imposing silhouette. This size is optimized for detail and joint mobility. While you can scale the model, note that scaling down may reduce joint mobility and make the tight fits even worse. Post-Painting Friendly: The model is not split into color zones, so it prints as a single-color model—perfect for painting Superior Spider-Man's red suit, black accents, and metallic spider-legs with your own custom finishes.
