Modular Shower Storage System

A fully 3D-printable, modular storage system designed specifically for the shower.     The idea behind this design was to create a functional bathroom storage solution where the entire construction can be printed. The joints, locking pins, hinges, clips and connectors are all part of the design, so no additional hardware is required for assembling the cabinet itself. Modular & Stackable Each storage compartment is a separate module. You can print only the amount of storage you need, or keep adding additional modules to build the cabinet as high as you want. The vertical supports connect using integrated printed joints, allowing multiple sections to be stacked into one continuous structure. This also means that you can expand the system later without having to reprint the entire cabinet. Printed Assembly System The cabinet has been designed around 3D-printable mechanical connections. The assembly uses: Printed connecting pins Printed locking clips Integrated hinges Snap-fit connections Printed vertical connectors Modular support columns The clips lock the different sections together while still allowing the system to be disassembled if needed. The assembly photos show how the pins, clips and support columns fit together. Hidden Storage Each module has its own opening front panel. When closed, the individual compartments form a clean vertical design panel that hides shampoo bottles and other bathroom products. Open a panel and the storage compartment behind it is immediately accessible. This keeps the shower looking much cleaner compared with traditional open shower shelves. Designed for the Shower The internal shelves use an open geometric structure so water can drain through instead of collecting on the shelf. The narrow vertical design also makes efficient use of the corner of the shower without taking up much usable space.
