Descripción

Bring a touch of Japanese-inspired warmth to your space with this Mini Japanese Shoji Lantern, featuring a clean geometric design and a cozy ambient glow.   The lantern is available in three different heights, so you can choose the size that best fits your space. All versions share the same compact 62 × 62 mm footprint and come in heights of approximately 104 mm, 144 mm, and 181 mm. It is designed for use with an electric LED tea light and supports most common models. The tea light compartment accommodates lights with a maximum diameter of 40 mm and a height between 17–22 mm.   The design is optimized specifically for 3D printing and requires no supports. The panels are printed flat, allowing them to be as thin as possible so that Basic PLA can be used while still letting the light shine through. An AMS is required, but the entire print only uses three color changes.     Important: Use Basic PLA rather than Matte PLA for the translucent areas of the panels, as matte PLA allows significantly less light to pass through. Also, make sure to let the build plate cool down before removing the panels, as removing them while the plate is still warm may cause them to bend or warp.   Disclaimer: This design can only be used with electric tea lights, don't use real candles!     Printing All of my print profiles are ready to print. If you prefer to slice the model yourself, I recommend using a layer height of 0.16 mm or lower. Using height range modifiers to remove infill from the columns is also recommended, as this can greatly reduce stringing and other print artifacts.   The design has been tested with Bambu Lab PLA on all Bambu Lab printers. However, the largest version pushes the limits a little more and may cause issues with certain printer and filament combinations. Results may vary, so print the largest size at your own risk.     Assembly Assembly is quick and straightforward and requires no tools. Just be careful when handling the columns during assembly, as they are relatively thin and can break if too much force is applied. Start by securing the electric tea light inside the base using the threaded tea light holder. Next, simply slide the panels into the designated slots in the base. Once all panels are in place, carefully press the top onto the columns to complete the assembly. Depending on your filament and print tolerances, the top may have either a snug press fit or a slightly looser fit.     If you like this design, check out my other Japanese lanterns! https://makerworld.com/en/collections/7391806 Commercial license for all my designs available on Patreon and MakerWorld!
