Gilded Harvest Pumpkin Decor & Tealight Holder

The print file includes two print options. The print time shown is for both models in total.    1) Translucent PETG – LED Tealight Version This 1st print plate has settings adjusted for translucent PETG so the warm light can softly shine through the pumpkin. The model has no bottom, allowing you to simply place the finished pumpkin over an LED tealight.   The embossed filigree and leaf pattern is not pre-colored in the file. After printing, I highlighted the raised details using Rub ’n Buff Gold Wax, which gives the pumpkin its aged, gilded finish and really makes the pattern stand out.   *Only intended for LED lights.     2) Standard PLA – Decorative Version For those who simply want a beautiful fall decoration without the tealight effect, a second print profile is included with settings better suited for regular PLA. Print it in classic pumpkin orange, warm autumn tones, marble, matte, or whatever color fits your fall décor — then leave it as-is or add your own metallic highlights. The model has no bottom.   A statement piece for fall displays, Thanksgiving décor, mantels, shelves, entryways, and cozy autumn centerpieces.    The photos of both of the models were taken at different times of the day—from full sunlight into late evening to show how the pumpkin changes with the surrounding light.   Current size ~9cm in height, 10 cm wide (can be scaled)   Filament Used Option 1 was printed with Bambu translucent PETG - Orange Option 2 was printed with ZIRO “After Glow” Matte PLA: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D78F2FYT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1     Printing Use a clean print plate with some glue (unless you are using a super tack plate) Use dried out filament(Different filament types impact the print differently, please adjust your settings accordingly. Support Removal: There will be support on the inside of the model to hold up the “roof”. The support on the inside will form a round support area that I needed to “fold” in the middle to be able to remove through the opening.  Let the model cool down before removing the supports. Use pliers when removing the supports. Break the support off starting at the middle by breaking (crushing) the support in the middle.  Remove the supports in smaller pieces. Light sanding and gentle, controlled heat may be needed to clean up areas where the supports were attached. I used a handheld mini torch, but apply heat carefully to avoid warping or damaging the print.   If you like this design, please leave a rating, a comment or a boost.
