Descripción
This is a basic system for securely holding ¼-inch hex-shanked driver bits. Specifically those with a retention groove for use with common quick-release impact drivers. Inside each hex-shaped hole is a flexible tab that locks your bit in place. This locking tab holds the bit in place, keeping it in the hole in case the holder tips or falls over. However it can still be easily removed by pulling it out by hand. Due to a small internal designed support, the first time a bit is inserted you may have to press hard to break this support for the first time. Afterward, the part will flex normally. Printing Considerations: Model orientation is key. The included profile and customizable model are in the proper orientation. This ensures the flexible tab can print in the layer plane and flex appropriately without breaking. There is also a small support under this flexible arm that must be underneath. Thus orientation is important here. Material: PETG is recommended, PLA works fine as well. PETG is more flexible and springs back better, and will perform better in the long term for the flexible parts inside this model.
