Apply the bead and smooth it in one pass. The blade is a flat plate aligned with the axis. It's not a scraping edge, but a float that smooths the sealant as it exits the nozzle, so with a firm pull you get a perfect, beveled bead. No fingers, no soapy water, no extra tools. If in doubt, choose a smaller size: a thin bead can be re-beaded, a thick one cannot. PRINTING In a vertical position, with the thread on the plate, without supports. The bead outlet is a slot, not a hole, sized to match the bead it's feeding into. 0.2 mm layers are required; PLA is sufficient. PETG is suitable if cleaned with solvent.
