Descripción

Tired of the "dangling puck" charging cable mess? This custom functional faceplate transforms the front of your Steam Machine into a seamless, mechanical drop-in charging dock for the Steam Controller.   Designed to provide a clean, tactile docking experience while keeping your setup clutter-free.   Boost MeIf you want to see more models like this, feel free to give this one a boost :) This model is part of the ‘Funktional Faceplate’-collection, check out the other faceplates at the links below: Brick-compatible faceplate: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3196065-steam-machine-brick-compatible-faceplate  NeXT Cube faceplate: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3196029-steam-machine-next-cube-faceplate  Skådis faceplate: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3196089-skadis-pegboard-steam-machine-faceplate    Key Features Triple Functionality: Use it directly as a replacement faceplate for your Steam Machine. Snap on the included desk stand for a dedicated tabletop charging dock. Mount it on the side of the Steam Machine using the included straps; this would even allow you to dock multiple controllers simultaneously! Drop-In Alignment: Precision-engineered mechanical guides allow the Steam Controller to slide effortlessly into place with zero slop. Minimal Hardware Required: Aside from filament, the only non-printed parts needed are 6 standard disc magnets to secure the assembly and faceplate alignment. Bill of Materials (BOM) Magnets: 6x circular neodymium magnets 10x3mm (press-fit into the magnet holders). OEM Charging Puck: Standard Steam Controller magnetic charging puck / cable. Angled USB-C extender: For the cleanest look, meaning not having the USB-cable poking out from the top, you can purchase an angled USB-C extension cable/adapter like this one. Assembly Insert the magnets into the separate magnet holders The magnet holders near the top hold 2 magnets each, while the ones on the bottom hold a single magnet Press fit the magnet holders into the back of the faceplate, optionally add some superglue to keep them in place if necessary Attach the faceplate to the Steam Machine License & Commercial Rights This model is strictly for Personal, Non-Commercial Use.
