A drink, phone, and sunglasses holder for stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Key Features 🔒 Twist-lock base - for unplanned swims 🧊 Compatible with insulated can holders 🥤 Insert system supports many can sizes 🧩SUPSnap: An open-source accessory mount system so you can design your own accesories 📱 Phone module to keep your phone and sunglasses secure 🔗CupConnector module allows several SUP CUPs to be connected together 🧪[Experimental] Makerworld Customizer testing is under way - try it out, but expect some bugs! How it works Slide the base under the bungee cords on your paddle board or kayak. Twist the cup onto the base. The bungees drop into with the channels in the base, and the twist-lock traps them, so the SUP CUP can't lift off - even upside down. Drop in your drink. Use an insert if your can or bottle is narrower than the cup. Optional: clip on the phone mount and hold your phone and shades in place with a hair elastic Which one do I print? Pick one profile from the table below. Not sure? Print classic. It fits the most containers. ProfileDescriptionWorks with CryoPod can holder 🧊SUP CUP openingSUP CUP heightClassicFits most tumblers and water bottles. ✅ Yes91.5 mm84 mmDuoSame size as classic, but with a second mount on the front - so you can link two SUP CUPs together and still use the phone mount.✅ Yes91.5 mm84 mmLiteLighter and simpler - for kids' bottles and smaller tumblers. Links to a full SUP CUP via CupConnector. Doesn't support inserts or the CryoPod - just a cup that holds a drink❌ No75mm84 mm💡 There's also a compatibility table near the bottom if you want to double-check your container size before printing. Insert System Inserts reduce the opening so narrow drinks don't tip inside the cup. The “Main insert” snaps into the SUP CUP, and the Can/Bottle inserts screw into the main insert. Store your inserts inside the phone holder for easy transportation InsertHoldsOpeningMain InsertSmaller tumblers and coozies (18-24oz variants of popular brands) 81 mmCan InsertStandard 12 oz / 355 ml cans, 16 oz tallboys, 50 cl EU cans, and slim cans66 mmBottle InsertSleek & Slim cans (Whiteclaw, Monster slim, Red Bull, Truly, High Noon, hard ciders) 12oz North American beer bottles 61.5 mm📝 Note: The images and videos do not show the new screw-on insert style - I made this improvement after recording and editing. SUPSnap: Open Source Module System ⚡ The side of every SUP CUP has an easy-to-use accessory interface. Modules slide on and off. SUPSnap Model Page Two accessories are included with the print profiles today: 📱 Phone module: Clips onto the side of the cup. Fits nearly all flagship phones and waterproof phone sleeves. Loop a common hair elastic through the top to hold the phone and your sunglasses in place. 🥤 CupConnector: Links two SUP CUPs side by side so you can paddle with a partner. On the Duo profile, you can connect an extra cup while still using the phone module at the same time thanks to its extra module mount on the front. 🔧If you'd rather design something yourself - e.g. a dive flag holder, bluetooth speaker mount, etc. - I've published a fully open, remixable module template. My only request is that you post it as a remix of the template so everyone else can find and print it too. Insulated Add-on: CryoPod Can Holder 🧊 The CryoPod Insulated Can Holder is a freezable, parametric, can holder that doesn't just insulate your drink, it actively cools it 🧊. After posting my previous SUP CUP design, I received many requests to create an insulated or freezable version of the insert system. There were already several great insulated can holder designs on Makerworld, so I decided that it would be better to partner with another designer in the community. I reached out to Michele, the designer of the CryoPod Insulated Can Holder, and they were more than willing to team up. CryoPod Instructions Print the “Classic” or “Duo” SUP CUP profile Head over to the CryoPod page and print their “Classic Pod” profile. Follow their instructions to properly freeze your CryoPod, then drop it in the SUP CUP and enjoy! 💬 Comment on this model if you'd like me to make any custom SUP CUP sizes that fit Michele's other CryoPod options (sleek, slim, etc.). Printing without the profiles 📝 I recommend using the print profiles - but if you can't, these are the settings to use. Supports are required, but minimal: Note: PETG or ASA is recommended, as PLA can easily deform and weaken in the sun. Most SUP cup holders (including my previous design) just sit under the deck bungees. So the retention came first: the base twist-locks the bungees inside it, and everything else was built onto that. The CupConnector exists because of my niece. She's getting close to the age where she'll be heading out on the board with her mom, and it seemed unfair that only one of them would have somewhere to put a drink. So now two SUP CUPs clip together. The SUPSnap accessory system exists because I received so many requests for unique and creative add-ons after posting my last design. Dive flag holders, fishing gear, action cameras, and a few I'll leave to your imagination. Rather than try to guess what everyone needs, I made the mount interface open so you can build your own - and I'll keep designing the ones people ask for most. Terms of Use 📜 Print it, gift it, remix it, throw it in a lake. All non-commercial use is fine by me. If you want to sell prints of the SUP CUP, you'll need a commercial licence. These designs take a long time (and a LOT of filament) to get right, and your support really helps designers like me spend more time creating models that you can sell! Currently commercial licensing is handled on my Patreon, but I'm working toward MakerWorld Memberships so this can be done properly on-platform. Follow me on Makerworld to help me reach the 200 follower threshold required for MakerWorld memberships! If you print it ⭐ Rate the print profile after it comes off the plate - it tells others that the files work. Comment with a picture, include your drink container and its volume (ie. Owala FreeSip 32oz). This helps me expand the list of compatible containers! Something not fitting? Say so in the comments. I answer everything and update files frequently - I'll get it sorted out Changelog 2026-08-18: Fix support settings in print profiles 2026-08-18: Add experimental parametric version
