Parametric Furniture Handle Generator — 6 Designs, Any Screw Mount, Clip-On 2-Colour Front Design your own cabinet, drawer and door handles in one parametric file. Six handle designs, every common mounting method built in, optional decorative relief, and a genius clip-on front cover that gives you two colours with no AMS and no purge tower.   Six designs in one generator Bar handle: the classic bar on two posts. D-handle: one smooth continuous arc. Bar pull: a slim round bar on two round feet. T-bar: a single centre post with a cross bar. Knob: a single-screw knob in domed / cylinder / faceted / square styles. Edge pull: an edge-mounted finger pull. Mount it any way you like (default M4, M2 … M8) Furniture handles screw in from behind the front panel. Choose the receptacle to match your hardware — the correct metric dimensions are built in for every size: Printed metric thread — a real thread printed into the part; just screw in, no hardware. Self-tapping plastic screw — a smooth undersized hole for a plastic screw. Captive hex nut or square nut — side-insert pocket, the screw threads into the nut. Heat-set brass insert — a stepped hole sized for the insert, melted in with a soldering iron. Through clearance hole — plain pass-through. Standard hole spacings as one click: 32 / 64 / 96 / 128 / 160 / 192 / 224 / 256 / 320 mm, or set your own. Two colours the easy way — a flush clip-on front The decorated front is a separate cover that clips onto the base. Print the base in one colour and the cover in another, then clip them together — no multi-material printer needed, no purge waste. Decoration is separated from structure, so you can print several different fronts for the same handle and swap the look any time. Flush inlay (default): the base crown is waisted so the cover finishes level with the base and snaps into a groove — after assembly it reads as one seamless part, ideal for a daily-use grip. Clip-over cap (option): a slide-on cap that wraps the bar and locks axially; its edge sits slightly proud. Choose whichever look you prefer. Base holds the screw mount; the cover carries the relief. Works on the straight-grip designs (bar handle, bar pull, T-bar). Posts wider than the grip? On a round bar pull the grip can be thinner than its posts. The cover then automatically follows the grip + post contour: a constant-clearance pocket is carved around each post (only up to the grip centreline, so the crown bridges over the post), so the cover still seats flush as one full-length part. Want an unbroken skirt? Make the grip at least as wide as the posts. Prefer a single colour? Turn the cover off and the relief is applied straight to the grip. Surface relief — like the parametric vessel Add texture to the front: longitudinal flutes, diamond knurl, circumferential rings or flat facets. Flutes and rings use the same groove profiles as the parametric vessel — rounded, rectangular or V-groove — with full control of count, depth, width and a smooth margin at the ends. Drill the mounting hole(s) at your chosen spacing — two holes for bar/pull designs, one for knob, T-bar and edge pull. Push the screw through the panel from behind into the receptacle: it drives straight into a printed thread or self-tap hole; threads into a captive hex/square nut; or into a heat-set insert (melt it in first with a soldering iron). A clearance hole takes your own nut on the far side. Tighten snug — don't overtighten a printed thread. Two-colour cover: print the base in colour A and the cover in colour B, then slide the cover onto the base from one grip end until the end-lock clicks. Join it before or after mounting.   Print settings Material: PLA, or PETG for kitchen/bathroom. Layer height: 0.2 mm (0.16 mm for fine relief). Walls: 2–4 perimeters. Infill: 15–40 % (the grip is a load-bearing part). Support type when required: build plate only. Do not fill screw, nut or insert cavities. Adhesion: use a 5–8 mm brim for Round grips and for long or narrow handles. Export one of the print modes; those modes already place the parts in their intended FDM orientation. Review the sliced preview before printing, especially after choosing extreme custom dimensions. How to customise Open the Customizer, pick a design, set your hole spacing, choose a mount type and screw size, optionally enable the clip-on cover with a relief and two colours, and set the cross-section (round / rounded / rectangular) and grip size. Export print_base and print_cover (two colour) or print_single (one colour).
