Mini Whipper Snipper

This is something a little different for me but was part of a fun challenge where designers modeled something in 1 hour based on the theme of power tools. You can check out the other designs in this collection. The intention was to make these items keychains but mine didn't really work to well as a keychain - I'm just uploading it as a miniature.    What do you call this device? Around the world it is known as a: Whipper Snipper (AU & NZ) Strimmer (UK) Weed Eater (US) Weed Whip (US) Weed Whacker (Southern US) String/Line Trimmer (Universal) Design Process I work in Blender which probably isn't the most efficient program for this type of process. I really want to learn CAD at some point but I just keep using Blender because it's what I know. As part of the challenge, we each recorded the design process - here's a sped-up version: Assembly To assemble, just press the pieces onto a 50mm and 14mm steel dowel as shown. You may need to use some glue depending on the fit.   Notes The line on the end is very fragile - you may want to snip it off. As photographed, this was printed in Bambu PLA Matte Mandarin Orange and Charcoal Black along with Polymaker Muted White.
