RC Drift Camera Rig 360° Follow Camera Trailer

A custom 360° follow camera trailer designed specifically for the LDRC LD1899 1/18 RC drift car. This rig is designed to capture unique follow shots while drifting and was tested using an iPhone 14 with a slim case. Features * Designed for the LDRC LD1899 * Fits an iPhone 14 with a slim case * Adjustable modular camera arm * Uses skateboard wheel bearings * Easily replaceable parts if damaged Adjustable Arm The long connector sections allow you to adjust the length and camera angle. After testing different configurations, I found that 4 long connectors gives me the angle I was looking for, but you can add or remove sections to create your preferred setup. The connectors can be joined using a small piece of unused 3D printer filament, which acts as a simple connecting pin. Easy Maintenance The Y post is attached to the base with 3 screws, which are intentionally designed to stick out slightly for easy removal. All major components are designed to be individually replaceable, so if something breaks, you only need to reprint the damaged part instead of the entire rig. Printing Recommended starting settings: * 0.2 mm layer height * 3+ walls * 15–25% infill * Supports where needed * PLA recommended, although PETG or stronger materials can also be used Free Community Project I’m sharing this design completely free in hopes that others will use it, improve it, and help develop the project further.
