Iron Man – 30cm No AMS Edition 🦾 No AMS Required This project started with the excellent Ironman FanArt model by HomeDecor here on MakerWorld. Full credit to HomeDecor for the original model and the design that inspired this project. Please visit and support the original creator and model. I loved the original sculpt, but I wanted to build a large, full-color version without relying on AMS color changes or painting. What started as a simple printing project quickly turned into a complete multipart engineering conversion. This edition has been rebuilt and optimized specifically around separate-color FDM printing and physical assembly. ✨ What's Different? Approximately 30 cm tall No AMS required Red, gold, gray and reactor components print separately Model extensively remeshed and rebuilt for the conversion Original single-piece geometry separated into individual printable components Alignment and connection features added for assembly Parts reoriented and tested for practical FDM printing Display base rebuilt and modified Designed so the final color comes primarily from the filament itself — no painting required This is not simply a painted slicer profile. The model was physically separated and engineered into individual components so users with a standard single-filament printer can create the multicolor result shown in the photos. 🖨️ Printing The model was developed through multiple test prints before the final full-size build. Some components require supports due to the armor geometry. I recommend reviewing each plate before printing and using the included print profile as the starting point. The finished model shown in the photos was printed and assembled from the included parts. 🔧 Assembly The individual color components are designed to assemble into the completed figure after printing. I strongly recommend dry-fitting every component before applying adhesive. Minor tolerance differences between printers, filament types and calibration can affect fit, so light sanding or cleanup may occasionally be required. ❤️ Credit to the Original Creator This project would not exist without HomeDecor's original Ironman FanArt model.
