Descripción
Bring the dramatic intensity of classical renaissance art to your 3D printer with the Tower of the Fallen. Inspired by epic mythological battles and historical masterpieces like Rodin's Gates of Hell, this towering sculpture features a complex web of intertwined, muscular figures locked in a perpetual state of struggle and ascent. From dynamic combat poses to agonizing expressions and flowing drapery, every angle of this model offers a breathtaking new detail to admire. It serves as an incredible centerpiece for any tabletop, desk, or display shelf. As seen in the reference image,, this model prints beautifully in standard white or marble PLA, catching the light to highlight the intense anatomical details of the figures. Recommended Print Settings: To capture the intricate details of the figures and their dynamic poses, careful slicing is required. Layer Height: 0.12mm or 0.08mm (Highly recommended for optimal detail on the faces and musculature). Infill: 10% - 15% Lightning or Gyroid (The model is largely self-supporting in its core, but needs enough infill to support top layers). Supports: Organic/Tree supports are mandatory. Due to the numerous overhanging limbs, weapons, and dynamic angles of the figures, carefully painted tree supports will save time and material while ensuring the arms and hands print successfully. Brim: A 5mm outer brim is recommended to secure the wide, textured base to the build plate during the long print time. Material: PLA, Resin, or PETG. Matte white, ivory, or marble filaments are highly recommended to simulate the look of carved stone or cast plaster. Pro-Tip: Take your time removing the supports! Use flush cutters to carefully snip away the tree supports around the delicate fingers and extended limbs to avoid accidental breaks. Happy Printing! If you print this, please share your makes—I would love to see how it turns out in different colors and materials!
