1/12 Scale Action Spider Web Effects

A collection of 3D printable web effects for 1/12 scale action figures, designed for dynamic displays, dioramas and toy photography. The pack includes several different web effects that can be used for web shooting, swinging, attaching to objects or figures, catching weapons and creating larger web displays. The effects are deliberately thin and organic to give them a more natural web-like appearance when displayed with a figure. You Get Long web strands in different lengths Web strands with small webbing effects at the end Larger web attachment / catching effects Large web sheet Wrist pegs for attaching the web strands directly to a figure 0.2 mm nozzle print profile 0.4 mm nozzle print profile The included wrist pegs are sized to fit MAFEX Spider-Man, but they can be adjusted in your slicer to fit other figures. Printing Notes For the best result I strongly recommend a 0.2 mm nozzle. My main prints were made using: Nozzle: 0.2 mm Layer height: 0.08 mm Supports: Required I've also included a 0.4 mm nozzle version for anyone who doesn't have a 0.2 mm nozzle available. These are very delicate prints, particularly the thin web strands and finer sections of the webbing. Be patient and careful when removing the supports. The good thing about printing something as irregular and organic as webbing is that small imperfections aren't particularly noticeable. A slightly uneven strand or tiny mark from support removal tends to blend naturally into the web structure rather than looking like a printing defect. Wrist Pegs The included wrist pegs fit the MAFEX Spider-Man figure I used for the photos. Different action figures use different wrist and hand connections, so the pegs may need to be scaled or adjusted in your slicer for your figure of choice. Because these parts are small, make small adjustments and test the fit rather than forcing a peg into the figure.
