Volvo S60R/V70R Front Bumper Winglet

These front winglets are inspired by the OEM Sport Kit winglets for the Volvo S60R/V70R. The design was based on a relatively low-quality 3D scan, then cleaned up and slightly modified for easier printing, assembly, and mounting. This is not a true 1:1 reproduction of the OEM part, but the overall shape and fit should be close. Printing Total filament usage is around 1 kg for the pair, depending on settings. Recommended settings: 3–4 walls 10–20% infill Supports enabled 0.28 mm layer height with a 0.4 mm nozzle A 0.6 mm nozzle can help reduce print time Recommended Filaments ASA: Best overall choice for heat and UV resistance PETG: Easier to print and should work well. I used PETG this on the winglet pictured. PLA: Not recommended for long-term exterior use Assembly The winglets are split into multiple pieces for easier printing. The pieces are 3 mm thick and can be aligned and glued by hand. Mounting There are 3 mounting brackets total, although using 2 of the 3 should still be fine. The bracket near the wheel uses a separate piece with holes for M5 bolts and nuts. For the other two brackets, the intended method is to drill a hole and secure them with a rivet, although zip ties or something similar could also work. Composite Use The printed parts could also be reinforced with fiberglass or carbon fiber, or finished and used as a plug for making a mold.
