Uruk Hai Orc Sword from Lord of the Rings

This is my take on a Uruk-Hai Orc Sword!  I made a wooden version of this sword a few years back.  I'm still in the process of finishing this, so I will post more pictures when I'm finished.  I will probably create a battle-worn distressed, damaged version eventually as well.    Features: Adjustable 39" to 49" blade (Way larger than the official prop) 8.2 mm hole down the middle to fit a 5/16" steel, wood, or fiberglass dowel/rod/stake for stability Hole width is adjustable Additional 10mm locator pins Adjustable blade section can be adjusted from 18mm tall all the way to 250mm to add up to 10" of extra length.  The one I made is 39" Adjustable section has a hole all the way through to accommodate adjustability Full Uncut STL is available above.  Click the drop-down and choose download STL/CAD Files Finishing Plan: Glue with super glue Paint with Resin Sand and fill additional cracks and holes with Red Automotive patch putty Prime Paint with two-part process of Rustoleum Hammered Gray over still wet hammered  Black. About the Sword:   The Uruk-hai sword, famously featured as a heavy, brutal scimitar in The Lord of the Rings films, is an industrial chopping weapon measuring roughly 31.8 inches overall with a distinctive back-spike and leather-wrapped grip.    Uruk-hai are an advanced, stronger, and larger breed of Orcs in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth. In the Black Speech, "Uruk" means orc and "hai" means folk. They are smarter, faster, and—unlike regular orcs—can endure sunlight.  Design and Features Blade Profile: Features a broad, forward-weighted chopping design with a false edge and a distinct rearward spike or hook near the base/spine. No Point: Built strictly for slashing, hacking, and utility work rather than a fine point or thrusting. Guardless Hilt: Features a concave, leather-wrapped wooden handle with a recessed choil instead of a traditional crossguard. Finish: Designed with a battle-worn, corroded, or rough hand-forged look to mimic the pits of Isengard. Uruk Hai Origins and Breeding Created by Sauron: The first Uruks (or Black Uruks) appeared from Mordor late in the Third Age. They were larger and stronger than regular goblin-soldiers.  Refined by Saruman: Later, the wizard Saruman bred his own enhanced strain of Uruk-hai at Isengard. Characters in the books speculate these were crossed with or combined with men.  Key Differences from Regular Orcs Physical Size: Uruk-hai are taller, broader, and more muscular than standard orcs. Sunlight Resistance: Regular orcs are weakened, blinded, and crippled by the sun. Uruk-hai can march and fight during the day without losing their strength. Discipline: They are more organized, follow military tactics, and are driven by fierce loyalty or fear rather than constant internal bickering.  Here is the Video I made of the Wooden Sword.
