Descripción
EXM-01: Open-Frame Exoskeletal Mechanism EXM-01 is an open-frame mechanical exoskeleton designed to follow the movement of the hand through a series of articulated linkages. The design uses 41 joints, 3 linear pistons, and 42 individual components, with approximately 40% of the assembly being print-in-place. Instead of covering the hand with solid armor, the EXM-01 keeps its structure exposed, making the mechanical movement and linkage system part of the design. The frame is intentionally kept lightweight and modular, allowing individual components to be modified, replaced, or redesigned without requiring the entire mechanism to be rebuilt. The project is fully open source, with the files available for others to download, modify, remix, and build upon on Onshape. If you do decide to do so, however, please remember give credit to me. Onshape link: link The assembly is a bit complicated but I currently don't have time to make a video so hopefully if you decide to print it out you'll be able to figure it out. No glue is required, and everything is snap fit. The fit may be a bit tight, it should all click into place. NO extra hardware required ONLY 64 grams of filament Boost MeI spent a lot of time on this design, and also spent a lot of filament, so a boost would make me quite happy!
