Rotating Cake Stand – 360° Silent Smooth Spin

Let the parts cool fully on the plate before removing them — the fit is measured at room temperature.   A turntable for decorating cakes — a fluted pedestal with a flat plate that spins on top, so you can hold the scraper still and turn the cake instead.   Three parts and nothing else. The plate is 245 mm across, the fluted pedestal is 237 mm at its widest and 117.5 mm tall. The plate has a 15 mm pin on its underside that drops into a 15.5 mm bore in the pedestal, and the 40 mm washer locks it from the other side. That is the whole mechanism: plastic on plastic, no bearings, no screws, nothing to buy.   The plate takes a 24 cm cake board comfortably. Anything bigger will overhang the edge — it still turns, you just lose the rim as a guide.   Print the pedestal first: it is the only part that needs supports, and the flutes flare outward at the base.   THREE SIZES · 237 mm — the main profile, the one we printed and photographed · 147 mm — scaled down to fit an A1 mini bed (180 mm) · 297 mm — scaled up for the A2L Each size is its own print profile.
