Bring sleek alien architecture and flexible multi-level terrain to your tabletop with this detailed T’au-inspired modular ruin. Boost MeI would love to create even more terrain pieces and release higher-quality models in the future. Since I design, test, and optimize everything in my free time, every bit of support is greatly appreciated. Your support helps me improve my work and release more printable terrain. Thank you! 🚀 This terrain piece represents a partially destroyed futuristic building designed in a distinctive T’au-inspired style. Large framed openings, smooth armour-like wall sections, technical details, antenna elements, recessed panels, and damaged upper edges give the model a clean but battle-worn science-fiction appearance. The model consists of two separate building levels. The upper floor can be removed from the lower section, allowing the terrain to be used either as a complete two-storey structure or as two individual battlefield pieces. This modular design makes the building especially flexible during gameplay. Used together, the two levels create an impressive vertical ruin with elevated positions for infantry models. Used separately, they provide additional cover and allow the battlefield layout to be adapted quickly to different missions and table sizes. The ruin fits naturally into alien settlements, research facilities, communication sites, fortified outposts, landing zones, command centers, and countless other futuristic battlefields. The large open window sections create interesting lines of sight while the interior spaces provide accessible positions for infantry models. The removable upper level also makes it easier to move miniatures inside the structure during gameplay. The clean geometric surfaces, layered wall panels, recessed technical details, damaged sections, antennas, and structural elements provide plenty of visual depth and make the model especially suitable for drybrushing, washes, edge highlighting, weathering, glowing effects, and clean futuristic colour schemes. All my models are based on real test prints — not only digital renders. I always aim for the best possible balance between print time, detail, durability, and filament consumption, ensuring that the terrain looks impressive on the tabletop while remaining reliable and practical to print. The model is specifically designed for FDM printing and prints beautifully in standard grey PLA without requiring filament changes. It can be painted to match your army and battlefield, or used directly from the printer as clean grey science-fiction terrain.
