Subatomic Sprinkler | Gardena Compatible The Subatomic Sprinkler is the result of 70+ test prints, dozens of geometry tweaks, and a mission to create the most efficient ultra‑light sprinkler possible. Despite weighing around 7.82 grams (PETG), this print‑in‑place design delivers a surprisingly powerful spray. Designed for people who want performance without wasting filament, the Subatomic Sprinkler works straight off the printer with the correct O‑ring and snaps directly into the Gardena/Quick Connect system. 🌊 Performance Fixed jet stream with considerable range depending on home pressure Realistic max reach: ~15 ft / 4.5 m (single stream, NOT FULL COVERAGE) Efficient even at low pressure — great coverage without overspray 🧩 Design Features Print‑in‑place — no assembly required Ultra‑light: 7.82 g (PETG) Perfect for using the last bit of filament on a spool Tuned geometry based on 70+ iterations to improve spray uniformity (still not perfect) 🖨️ Print Settings Layer height: 0.2 mm Infill: 15% gyroid Walls: 2 Supports: None Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA recommended PLA works only in cool conditions (avoid sun/heat to prevent warping) 🔧 O‑Ring Info Use the standard O‑ring for the Gardena Connector (Outer Diameter-16mm, Inner Diameter-11mm) 🌱 Use Cases Lawn & garden watering Pressure‑adjustable coverage: lower pressure = smaller area Great for quick setups, or targeted zones 🔄 Upcoming Variants Depending on how well this model does, I will be experimenting with: 180° variant for semi-circle coverage 90° variant for corner watering Custom cone slope and bore variants upon request The current model is 360_35_0.25 (Which means it sprays in a circle, exits the the deflection cone at a slope of 35°, and the exit ring/opening is 0.25mm wide.
