Beer Bottle Opener V2 A practical, foldable bottle cap launcher that takes up very little space on your keychain and can go with you anywhere. Now all you need is a bottle with a cap to launch. 😉 I finally found the time to revise the first version of my bottle opener. Here are the main improvements: The opener is now fully print-in-place, which improves the hinge mechanism and eliminates the need for assembly. The new version has been significantly reinforced and is printed as a solid part. It is now much stiffer, allowing more force to be transferred to the bottle cap. It should work reliably with most standard bottles. Safety Notice Use the opener with caution and make sure that you and the people around you are safe when ejecting bottle caps. Important Notes Bottle shapes and dimensions can vary considerably, so the opener may not fit every bottle. Its performance may also be affected by the filament, print quality, print settings, printer calibration, and the condition of the bottle. If the opener does not work properly for you, please feel free to contact me, and we will try to find a solution. Usage Please watch the video above for a demonstration. Place the opener on the bottle so that it sits securely underneath the bottle cap. Make sure it is positioned correctly, then rotate the lever around the bottle and pull it down firmly. BOOM — cap launched! 🍺 Always point the bottle cap away from yourself, other people, animals, and fragile objects. Printing Instructions Print time: approximately 45 minutes Filament usage: less than 25 g Fully print-in-place No supports required Tested successfully with Basic PLA Layer height: 0.2 mm Walls: 6 Bottom shell layers: 87 or more The high number of bottom shell layers makes the model effectively solid, so the infill setting does not matter.
