Palworld — Advanced Chest Roller Shutter Storage Box 1. Concept & Design This project brings the iconic Advanced Chest from Palworld into reality! As the largest storage chest currently available in the game, we decided not to compromise on scale—building it to full proportion with high-tech sci-fi aesthetics and maximum practical usability. Key Highlights of this design: Massive Storage Capacity: Truly reflects its in-game status as the ultimate high-capacity storage box. Game-Accurate & Stackable Design: Faithfully recreates the in-game geometry, complete with interlocking stackable features so you can stack multiple chests just like in your Palworld base. New Mechanism Experiment: Explored a roller shutter door mechanism to enhance hands-on interactivity. Printer-Friendly & Easy Assembly: Optimized plate layouts and part tolerance for an accessible printing experience. 2. Printing & Assembly Instructions Please print according to the provided plate layout sequence. Once printed, assemble as follows: Main Body & Roller Door: Print the white body and roller shutter door first. Slide the roller door into the internal tracks of the main body, then glue the top cover into place. Glue Application Note: Apply glue only along the outer edge of the top cover. Do NOT apply glue to the main body tracks to prevent accidentally sticking the roller door shut! (During testing, a glue-less snap-fit design was attempted, but due to the large size and leverage of the shutter door, opening it repeatedly caused the cover to pop off. Using glue along the edges provides long-term durability). Glue-Free Snap Parts: The black upper plates and gold clasps do NOT require glue. Simply position the black plates and snap the gold clasps directly on top. Side Covers: Use a small amount of glue to attach the black and gold decorative side panels to both ends. 3. Usage Tips & Design Choices Dual-Handle Operation: Because of the large physical scale, the long roller shutter door is relatively soft and may feel slightly sticky when pulled from one side. To resolve this, I designed two gold handles on the shutter so you can comfortably use both hands to operate the door smoothly. The "Go Big" Decision: I debated several times whether to downscale the model for smoother slider mechanics. However, since it represents the largest chest in Palworld, making it full-sized was the only way to do it justice! 4. Conclusion This Advanced Chest is the ultimate desk organizer for Palworld fans. I plan to release more variants, as well as other structures and items from Palworld in the near future—stay tuned! 🛠️ Quick Tips: Calibrate your flow rate properly before printing the roller shutter to ensure smooth sliding action. Needle-nose pliers combined with Bambu’s FAC002-N scraper will be your best companions for cleaning up support points and tight joints during assembly.
