Educational Model of a Plant Cell This is a model of a plant cell, designed to be easy to print and ideal for use in biology class. It's the second model in my "cell types" series, which illustrates the differences between the three main cell types (prokaryotic, plant cell, animal cell). The prokaryotic cell model is linked below, and the animal cell model will follow to complete the series.   Feel free to give me a follow to stay updated on my other projects, and if you like or use my models in class, I'd very much appreciate it if you could leave a like and boost the model. If you like them, please consider boosting me, that would mean a lot to me :) Thank you!Parts The model contains all the important organelles of a plant cell: Nucleus, with DNA and Nucleolus Smooth ER (sER) and Rough ER (rER) Golgi Apparatus Mitochondria Chloroplasts Vacuole Cytoplasm, with Ribosomes Cell Wall Cell Membrane Colour-Coding Across the Series Since this model is part of a three-part series, it's designed so that structures shared across all three cell types (such as the cell membrane, cell wall, ribosomes, or nucleus) can be printed in the same colour across all three models. Printing the series this way highlights which structures are common to all cells, and which are unique to plant or animal cells, when the models are displayed or handled side by side. Assembly The parts don't need to be glued together. This is intentional, so students can assemble and disassemble the model themselves in class, whether as part of a worksheet or guided by the teacher. If you'd prefer a fixed, permanent model instead, the parts can of course also be glued in place. Versions / Print Profiles There are three print profiles available, so you can pick the one that fits your printer and workflow: Dual-Nozzle MC: all parts optimized for dual-nozzle printers to print two colours at the same time. (not tested by myself because I don't own a Dual-Nozzle printer, but it's the same parts as in the other profiles, just slightly adjusted colouring) Single Colour: all parts optimized to print as fast as possible in a single colour, ideal if you plan to spray-paint the parts afterwards. Single-Nozzle MC: all parts optimized for single-nozzle printers to print in multiple colours with minimal purge waste, keeping colour changes on a single part to a minimum where possible. There's currently only the base version. As with my other models, I'll add versions as I get suggestions and feedback from the community.
