Bottle Cap Destroyer Warning: Bottle caps can be ejected backwards. Hold the opener sideways during use, as shown in the GIF below, and keep it away from your head to prevent the bottle cap from flying toward you. Bottle caps can be launched at high speed and may travel a considerable distance, so be mindful of your own safety and your surroundings. Keep your fingers clear of moving parts to avoid pinching injuries. Use at your own risk. This is the improved version of the popular EXTREMELY LOUD BOTTLE OPENER. I have spent the past few months making this model even better. Voilà—here is the result.  Fully 3D printable Reinforced geometry Increased durability Improved design More comfortable grip Replaceable lever tip Have fun with it!   Important Information    This bottle opener is not a decoration — it’s a functional tool that has to handle force when opening a bottle.  That’s why the following points are important to make sure it works properly.   The opener has to fit the bottle exactly. Only when it sits correctly can it apply the necessary force without damaging itself. You can find instructions on how to identify the correct bottle shape below.   Additionally, using the right filament is crucial. Filaments with additives like silk, matte, wood, or similar effects tend to make the print more brittle and less durable, so the bottle opener could break more easily. Even PLA-CF and PETG-CF can be more brittle because of the added fibers. For the best results, regular standard filaments are recommended. A clear recommendation for the opener base is regular PLA, since it offers high stiffness, barely bends, and is sufficiently durable. This helps maintain an exact fit, even while opening the bottle.   PETG works as well, but it’s a lot less stiff and flexes more under pressure. In the worst case, the lever can slip off and get damaged by the bottle cap without even opening the bottle.   If you want to use more advanced filaments, I assume you already know how to work with them.   There are also plenty of other factors that can vary, like the filament brand, bottle manufacturer, drink temperature, printing process, how the opener is used, and more. I’m trying to make sure the opener works perfectly for as many users as possible. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case for everyone, since there are many factors I can’t control. In any case, I’ll do my best to help if you run into any problems — just reach out. BOTTLE SHAPES Before printing, check which version fits your bottle. Currently, two profiles are available: one for German bottles and one for Corona bottles.
