Descripción

Overview The Hercules Beetle Armor is a heavy defensive armor designed in my signature industrial mechanical style for the Dummy 13 Armor Series. Inspired by the iconic Hercules beetle, this design emphasizes overwhelming presence, powerful frontal defense, and an unmistakable insect-inspired silhouette. Unlike a full heavy armor suit, this design intentionally leaves the lower body unarmored. By concentrating protection on the upper body, it maintains the beetle’s characteristic defensive appearance while allowing greater mobility and agility in combat. Features   Signature Hercules Horn – Features large dual horns with a secondary center spike, recreating the iconic silhouette of the Hercules beetle. Curved Elbow Horns – Extended curved horns mounted on both elbows provide additional protection and a unique combat profile. Mechanical Vented Shoulder Armor – Shoulder armor incorporates industrial exhaust-inspired vent structures to reinforce the mechanical aesthetic. Reinforced Heavy Chest Armor – Enlarged chest armor creates a stronger defensive core and emphasizes the upper-body-focused design. Four Rear C-Type Mounts – The back features four C-type attachment points. The upper mounts are compatible with the previously released Wasp Wings, while the lower mounts support dual thruster units for enhanced mobility. Upper-Body Heavy Defense Concept – Heavy protection where it matters most while keeping the legs lightweight for improved movement.   Printing Notes This model is strongly recommended to be printed with PETG. The armor contains multiple mechanical connection points, horn structures, and articulated components that require flexibility and durability. PLA may be too brittle and could crack during assembly or regular handling. PETG provides better impact resistance, toughness, and long-term structural stability, making it the recommended material for this armor.   Assembly         Dummy 13 Version 1.0 © 2024 by Gabriel Rosiak is licensed under CC BY 4.0
