Update 2026-07-29. updated the model to fit with BC-6 MK2   The BC-6 Cooler is a reusable ice pack designed specifically for the BC-6 can carrier. It sits between the two rows of cans, while the curved sides follow the shape of the cans to provide a large contact area and more effective cooling. The cooler is filled with water through the removable plug and then placed in the freezer. Features Designed specifically for the BC-6 carrier Cools cans on both sides Refillable and reusable Large contact area against the cans Removable plug for easy filling Can be stored ready to use in the freezer Designed for straightforward 3D printing and assembly How to Fill It Carefully remove the filling plug using the correct Allen key (8mm). Make sure the inside is clean. Fill the cooler approximately 80–85% with ordinary water. Leave at least 15% empty space because water expands when it freezes. Reinstall the plug and tighten it gently. Do not overtighten it, as this may damage the threads or printed part. Wipe the cooler dry and check it carefully for leaks. For the first leak test, place it on a paper towel before freezing. Do not fill it completely. A fully filled container may crack or split when the water freezes. How to Use It Freeze the cooler for at least 8–12 hours, preferably overnight. Place the frozen cooler in the centre of the BC-6 carrier. Place three cans on each side of the cooler. After use, wipe it clean and return it to the freezer. For the best cooling performance, both the cans and the cooler should already be cold before being placed in the carrier. Important Information Ordinary water is recommended. Avoid unnecessary additives. Check regularly for cracks, damage or leaks. Do not use the cooler if it is damaged. The contents are not intended for drinking. Wash by hand using lukewarm water. Do not place it in a dishwasher or microwave, and avoid hot water. A watertight print and a properly sealed filling plug are required. PETG is generally more suitable than PLA for repeated freezer use.
