Gaio it is my first aircraft creation and its also the name of bird. (It is in the development phase.) This functional glider model, with a motor, was created so that it can be printed on the Bambu A1 mini. The base that served as inspiration was the Discus-2c glider. The development was done with the incredible Onshape software. The aerodynamic tests were done with the Airshaper.com website. After two years of development and many kilos of filament, I have reached the flight testing phase. It is at this stage that I publicly share Gaio. All comments that can improve this project are very welcome. Thank you very much Onshape and Airshaper.   The Gaio glider was designed to be printed using a Bambu Lab A1 Mini (180mm x 180mm x 180mm) with a 0.4mm nozzle, a standard flow, white and red PETG filament, and a Scarf finish in Contour mode. I created a slower print profile with thin brim and supports, with better 10mm supports, called ASA4_0.20mm Standard @BBL A1M, for improved results and finish on the printed parts. It's worth waiting for a better result with more precise tolerances. No AMS Needed. The TPU filament is for the tail and wing tips wheels.    This project is currently under development; all constructive feedback is welcome.   The Gaio glider was developed to be printed on the BAMBU 3D A1 Mini printer, mainly using PETG filament as a compromise between weight and strength. For better results in finish and aerodynamics, I chose the "Contour" option in relation to the filament scarf. Carbon rods were used for the internal structure. To increase the strength of the carbon rods, I created some glued-on tips. This prevents the ends of the carbon rods from coming apart. The images shown are intended to facilitate the search for materials for less experienced users. The brands shown are for reference only.  Several parts of the Gaio Glider are secured with screws. The image below shows the dimensions and location of the screws. The center of gravity is calibrated through a space in the tail where a lead weight can be inserted.
