Interchangeable Badge Reel Topper System

Thank you so much for your support. This is my original concept and design.   Personal use only unless purchased from my website: www.themakerseditco.com OR subscribing on MakerWorld.   This interchangeable badge reel system was designed so you could easily swap out badge reel toppers by simply attaching a new lid with a glued on topper. The lid is thin and prints very quickly.    Note: Make sure to align topper on lid properly.   Glue-On Versions:   I have designed 2 versions:   The twist & lock version is best for PETG or ASA. PLA will fail with this design because the part that keeps it locked in will wear down quickly. This design requires a bit of force to lock the topper in place. Because of this, you will most likely need to glue the badge reel topper design on the lid before trying to twist it on the base.  This design has been extensively tested. It 100% works, but it is a tight fit. If it does not “click” into place, you have not gotten it all the way on. I have inlcuded a looser fit base for anyone having issues with the original base. This was my first design, but it can be difficult to use for some people. To make this interchangeable system easy to use for everyone, I created the threaded, screw on version. The threaded, screw-on versions works with PLA. I personally use Bambu Lab Basic PLA. There are alignment slots on this design.  I recommend .12mm (High Quality) layer height and 4 wall loops. I cannot guarantee that the slots will align properly if you use different settings. Due to different printers and filament, there is a possibility that your slots won't line up perfectly, even with using my settings. I have included an option with no alignment slots. This design allows you to easily twist the lid on the base and then glue your topper on if that is easier for you.   Badge Reel Cover:   It fits standard badge reels that are no more than 33mm in diameter.   This was intentionally designed to cover the entire badge reel and to not use magnets.   This badge reel holder is 43.5mm in diameter and is better suited for jumbo badge reel toppers.  Due to the diameter of this design, it works exceptionally well for jumbo badge reel toppers by helping it to sit flatter and not flop over as much.
