Cherry pitter / pitting machine, 7 at a time

Cherry pitter that pits 7 cherries at a time. Pit an entire 2lb bag of cherries in less than 5 minutes!   Simply snaps together as shown in one of the images. Springs are not required for it to work, but makes it return and strip the cherries off the skewers automatically. You can use almost any spring that is at least 7mm ID, and about 35mm long. I used the 3 of the springs linked below. If the link dies, just search amazon for “0.8x9mm OD 35mm Free Length Springs”.   To assemble, slide a few springs onto some of the skewers, then slide the top skewer piece into the middle piece while lining the 3 printed snaps up with the 3 corresponding groves in the top skewer piece. Make sure the skewers lines up with the corresponding holes in the middle piece, then push it all together. If your springs are weak you can use more, up to 7.    To use, drop 7 de-stemmed cherries in the bottom piece. Place the assembled middle and top piece on top, lining up the alignment notches. Push down on the top, and it will skewer the cherries and drop the pits out the bottom. It works best if cherries are placed “stem cavity” straight up.   Do not use any glass or carbon filled filament for this. Plain filaments only.
