Optimised pistachio bowl

Improved Pistachio Bowl – Less Jamming, More Capacity, Less Filament There are already many pistachio bowls available, but after using a few of them I noticed several small design flaws. This model is my attempt to improve those issues while keeping the design simple and easy to print. Improvements Anti-jam shell chute Below the shell opening, a conical funnel spreads the discarded shells evenly around the lower compartment instead of letting them pile up directly beneath the opening. This greatly reduces the chance of clogging. Optimized upper bowl depth Many existing designs have an upper bowl that is too deep. A bowl full of pistachios often produces more shell volume than the lower compartment can hold. This version uses a shallower upper bowl to better match the actual shell volume. Larger overall diameter The bowl is wider, making it more comfortable to reach and grab pistachios while snacking. Reduced wall thickness Many similar models use unnecessarily thick walls. This design keeps the walls thinner to save material while maintaining good rigidity. Smooth interior for easy cleaning Decorative exterior patterns often protrude into the inside of the shell container, making it harder to clean. In this design, the interior remains completely smooth. Material efficient The complete model requires only 157g of filament, making it economical to print.
