CYBERPUNK OUTCAST FLINTLOCK MUSKET (DART BLASTER)   "In a dark cyberpunk future, everything and everyone belongs to the corporations. Only the outcasts have never been owned. Corporations can lock your implants, freeze your bank account, and disable your smart rifle. But they cannot disable steel, black powder, and flint. Free people are forced to fight with the weapons of the past. A flintlock requires no firmware, no subscription, and answers to no one but its wielder."   Inspired by this concept, the CYBERPUNK OUTCAST FLINTLOCK MUSKET is a fully 3D-printable elastic-powered toy dart blaster that combines the appearance of a cyberpunk firearm with the operation of a traditional flintlock musket. Rather than simply resembling a flintlock, it recreates the complete firing sequence with a functional cock, frizzen, powder pan, trigger, sear, and half-cock safety.   The blaster is muzzle-loaded. Insert the dart into the barrel, seat it with the ramrod, cock the lock, aim, and fire. The entire loading and firing sequence is designed to resemble the operation of a historical flintlock while using a completely different internal propulsion system. The model features a compact folding design. Both the stock and the front assembly lock securely in their folded and deployed positions, allowing the blaster to be stored or transported in a much smaller package while remaining ready for use within seconds.   Designed primarily for PETG printing, the model is almost entirely 3D printed. No metal springs, screws, glue, filament retaining pins, or other additional hardware are required. The only non-printed components are the elastic bands used for propulsion and mechanism operation. In addition to the original HEX 13 mm dart version, the project also includes a separate conversion profile for standard 0.5-inch foam darts.   Features Fully functional flintlock-style firing mechanism Functional half-cock safety Muzzle-loaded operation with ramrod Folding stock with adjustable length of pull Folding front assembly for compact storage 99% PETG 3D printed No metal springs, screws, glue, or additional hardware. The only non-printed components are the elastic materials; the carriage guide rails also require lubrication during assembly. Includes a conversion profile for standard 0.5-inch foam darts Compatible with Bambu Lab P1 and A1 build volumes, as well as similar-sized printers (not compatible with the A1 Mini) Ammunition & Performance The primary configuration is designed to fire lightweight HEX 13 mm PETG or TPU printed darts weighing approximately 1–2 g. Typical performance: Muzzle velocity: approximately 40 ft/s (12 m/s) Effective range: approximately 3–10 m Shot dispersion at 3 m may reach approximately 0.25 m A separate conversion profile is included for users who prefer standard 0.5-inch foam darts. This project is intended primarily as an engineering and mechanical showcase that faithfully recreates the operation of a flintlock mechanism using almost entirely 3D-printed components. It prioritizes authenticity of operation and mechanical complexity over maximum performance.   Before You Print Please review the listed performance characteristics before starting the project. If you expect significantly higher power, accuracy, or range, this model may not match your expectations.
