O-Ring Generator

Looking for O-Rings? Look no further.   This OpenSCAD script lets you generate fully parametric O-rings and seal rings with configurable size, cross-section, and profile. Choose from common AS568-style presets or enter custom metric dimensions. Supports round, square, chamfered, D-ring, and X-ring cross sections.   Click on Customize to open the generator. 🚀 Quick Start 1. Select a Ring Size Choose one of the included AS568-style presets, or switch to custom mode and enter your own inside diameter and cross-section thickness.   2. Choose a Cross-Section Profile Select the seal profile that best fits your application: Round: Classic O-ring profile for general sealing applications. Square: Flat-sided profile for square-section seals and spacers. Chamfered: Square profile with beveled corners. D-Ring: Flat-bottom profile with a rounded sealing surface. X-Ring: Four-lobed profile inspired by quad-ring style seals. 3. Render and Export Generate the ring at the desired resolution and export it for slicing and printing. For functional seals, use flexible TPU with a fine layer height. Rigid materials such as PLA and PETG are best suited for prototypes, spacers, fit checks, and visual models. ⭐ Features AS568-Style Size Presets Quickly generate common inch-based O-ring sizes using standard inside diameter and cross-section dimensions.
