Boost MeIf you like this I'd love a boost. Thanks so much!Most 3D-printed phone docks with "speakers" sound pretty bad. They usually just punch a straight, hollow cone into a block of plastic, which traps the low frequencies and makes your phone sound like it’s playing out of a tin can. I wanted a dock that actually worked, and I wanted it to look like a piece of high-end vintage audio gear on my desk.   The Monolith hides a mathematically calculated, 100mm exponential horn inside a solid, minimalist block. Instead of just bouncing sound forward, the internal sweep acts as a true acoustic transformer—just like an old-school gramophone. It physically amplifies the volume and actually brings back the warmth and bass of your phone's speaker without using any electricity.   Because phone cases make finding a good dock impossible, I built this to be fully parametric in MakerLab. There's pre-sets for different phones with and without phone cases and I also allow for custom measurements. Just hit the Customize button.    Features Fits Your Exact Phone Setup: No more wobbly phones or slots that are too tight. Pick your phone model from the dropdown, then choose your case type (Bare Phone, Slim Case, or Heavy Duty Armor). The customizer calculates the exact tolerances so your phone slides in perfectly. Audiophile vs. Charging Mode: By default, the acoustic chamber is sealed airtight for maximum volume. But if you’d rather use this as an overnight charging dock, just check the "Enable Charging Channel" box. It routes a massive 16mm internal tunnel that easily swallows thick, braided USB-C cables. Supported Device Presets The Monolith's customizer includes precise base dimensions (Width x Thickness) for the following devices. Select the Custom option in the dropdown and manually enter your phone's width and thickness! Case Allowances Once you select your phone model, choose your case style. The generator automatically adds the necessary tolerances to your phone's base dimensions: Bare Phone: Adds +0.5 mm clearance for a snug, scratch-free fit. Slim Case: Adds +5.0 mm clearance for standard silicone and leather cases. Heavy Duty Armor: Adds +12.0 mm clearance for rugged, multi-layer cases. Print Instructions (Read Before Slicing!) Supports: OFF. Seriously, do not use supports. If you do, the slicer will fill the internal acoustic chamber with grid plastic, and you will never get it out. The printer will bridge the internal gaps on its own. Infill: 10% Rectilinear is fine.  Walls: 2 walls min but 3 walls is default (better acoustics). Denser plastic means less sound bleeds through the sides, forcing all the audio energy out the front bell.  Drop a make if you print one, and let me know how it sounds!
